Assistant Accounting Manager

**Job Title:** Assistant Accounting Manager **Reports To:** Accounting Manager/ Director of Finance **Role Description** This is a full\-time remote role for an Assistant Accounting Manager. The individual in this role will oversee and manage day\-to\-day accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, reviewing journal entries, and managing fixed assets. Responsibilities also include analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations * Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting data * Closely monitor the Accounts Receivable team and support day\-to\-day operations * Reconcile balance sheet accounts (Bank, Customer, Vendor, etc.) and investigate discrepancies * Prepare and support the team in generating MIS reports * Participate in month\-end and year\-end closing processes * Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency * Manage and mentor a team of 2–5 members **Education Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred) **Experience Required:** * 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (excluding internships) * Hands\-on experience with full\-cycle accounting **Technical Skills (Non\-Negotiable):** * Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online \- QBO) * Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) **Soft Skills:** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Analytical and problem\-solving mindset * Good organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and in a team * Willingness to learn and grow If you’re passionate about accounting and ready to grow in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!
