Abacus is seeking an
**Apigee Engineer**
with 4\+ years of experience to design, implement, and manage API solutions on cloud platforms. The role involves working on API gateways, cloud provisioning, and enterprise integrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop
**API proxies**
using Apigee
* Manage and monitor
**API performance, traffic, and transaction logs**
* Implement and manage
**API monetization modules**
* Work on
**API microservices development and integrations**
* Handle
**BigQuery data management**
and reporting
* Manage
**GCP and Azure provisioning**
for API\-related infrastructure
* Collaborate with teams on
**solution architecture and system design**
* Integrate authentication solutions such as
**Okta (CIAM)**
Requirements
* **4\+ years of experience**
in API development and management
* Strong hands\-on experience with
**Apigee**
* Experience with
**GCP and Azure environments**
* Knowledge of
**API lifecycle management and microservices architecture**
* Familiarity with
**BigQuery and cloud data handling**
* Experience with
**identity and access management tools (Okta preferred)**
* Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
Preferred
* Exposure to enterprise\-scale API implementations
* Understanding of
**API security and governance best practices**
