Accounts Payable Supervisor

We’re currently partnering with a fast\-growing international business looking to hire a Temporary AP Supervisor \& International Senior Accountant to support their global finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys combining team leadership with hands\-on technical accounting work, while collaborating with teams across Europe, the US, and India. This role is fully remote, and we welcome applications from candidates based anywhere globally. For those who prefer some in\-person collaboration, there is also the option to work from the office up to 2 days per week. We are ideally looking for someone who is immediately available to start in a full\-time temporary position, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. 💰 **Day rate:** £150–£250 per day, depending on experience. **The Role:** This position will oversee core procure\-to\-pay (P2P) processes, manage an offshore AP team, and support international accounting and month\-end close across multiple legal entities. You’ll work closely with the Accounting Senior Manager and gain exposure to UK, German, Polish, and US GAAP accounting environments. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and oversee a **3\-person offshore AP team** , ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and expenses * Oversee the **end\-to\-end P2P cycle** , including vendor management, invoice processing, payments, and accruals * Supervise the **employee expense reporting and reimbursement process** * Act as the **primary point of contact for AP and expense\-related queries** * Support **month\-end and quarter\-end close** , including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations * Manage **intercompany accounting and reconciliations** * Oversee **fixed asset accounting, intangible assets, and software capitalisation** * Work cross\-functionally with finance teams across **the US, Europe, and India** **Candidate Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance * 4\+ years of accounting experience, including AP supervision * Strong knowledge of procure\-to\-pay processes * Experience with international accounting environments (UK, German, Polish standards advantageous) * Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills * Experience with NetSuite, Ramp, or Tipalti is beneficial **Why Apply?** * Opportunity to lead processes and a team while remaining hands\-on * Exposure to international finance operations * Work within a global, collaborative environment * Chance to contribute to process improvements and automation
