Accounting Manager

An established and growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced **Accounting Manager** to lead key financial functions and support ongoing business growth. Location: Wixom, MI Salary: $140K plus 15% bonus Hybrid: 4 days in Office 1 remote **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) * 7\+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management role * Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry preferred * Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and audit support * Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment **Responsibilities** * Oversee daily operations of the accounting department * Lead the monthly close process and coordinate activities with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance functions * Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements * Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements * Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and support audit activities * Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and best practices * Collaborate with financial planning teams to align accounting, budgeting, and forecasting processes * Support system implementations and upgrades related to accounting and financial reporting * Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash reporting used by lenders * Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline accounting workflows If you are looking for an exciting organization for the next step in your career, reach out today. ***Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
