Job Description
**Accounting Manager** Our client, a wholesale consumer products company located in Jersey, City, NJ is currently looking for an Accounting Manager. This role is hybrid, 3 days a week in the office. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting. This role would analyzing financial data, monitor expenditures, forecast revenue, coordinate auditing process and ensuring financial accuracy information. Must have previous supervisory experience of Staff accountants / AP / AR. **Responsibilities** * Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles * Responsible for the day\-to\-day operations of the accounting department, including monthly financial closing processes, general ledger maintenance, and various financial reporting requirements including several statutory tax filings. * Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes * Research and analyze expense variances for company management * Preparation of fixed asset reconciliations, roll forwards, and depreciation calculations. * Supervise small team of 5\. **Qualifications** * 7\+ years' of professional accounting experience * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience For immediate consideration, apply today!
