**Accounting Manager**
to fill a
**newly created position**
, created to internalize our Accounting function as part of our SAP implementation journey.
**Job Responsibilities**
This is a newly created, strategic position, established to bring our Accounting function in\-house following our SAP implementation. Reporting directly to the Finance \& Operations Director, you will lead the Accounting function across 3 brands (TAG Heuer, Zenith, Fred), managing a team of 2 accountants. You will play a pivotal role in the final stages of the SAP go\-live, ensuring a seamless transition and embedding best\-in\-class accounting processes from day one.
Your main responsibilities:
ACCOUNTING \& REPORTING
* Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll activities and bank reconciliations. Supervise transactions, review ledger entries, and ensure all processes align with established accounting standards.
* Ensure timely bank payments.
* Ensure timely and accurate month\-end financial closings in compliance with accounting standards, managing the full submission in LVMH reporting tool (Syrus)
TAX COMPLIANCE
* Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations. Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) on a timely basis
* Oversee the preparation and filing of UAE Corporate Tax returns, in coordination with tax advisors.
* Monitor transfer pricing compliance and prepare relevant documentation where applicable
AUDIT \& FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
* Manage the yearly financial statements and coordinate the relationship with Auditors during their missions
* Support internal and external audit requests and inquiries by coordinating the completion and/or review of assigned audit support and identifying regulatory and operational changes to accounting policies and procedures
INTERNAL CONTROL
* Internal Control compliance
* Coordinate and follow up with respective department to ensure Open Purchase Order, Sales Order, Transfer orders are closed on timely basis
**Profile**
ACA or Chartered Accountant or ACCA in Accounting 8\+ years’ experience in a similar position within the luxury / retail environment Expert knowledge of SAP and IFRS is mandatory; prior experience in SAP implementation or go\-live projects is a strong asset Advanced Excel is mandatory Good understanding of Accounting, Intercompany Reconciliation, Retail Reconciliation, Corporate Tax, VAT and Withholding tax Demonstrate an attitude of professionalism, conscientiousness, reliability and integrity Able to prioritize and plan own workload in accordance with strict deadlines Ability to work proactively and independently managing multiple priorities. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization Fluent in English
