Website: Xanh SM \- Electric Mobility Service, 5\-Star Quality \| Xanh SM **Position Overview** The Chief of Accounting will lead the accounting and financial reporting functions for the company’s local operations. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, compliance with IFRS standards, and adherence to local tax and regulatory requirements. This position requires a hands\-on leader with strong technical expertise and a proactive mindset, capable of building and managing accounting processes in a fast\-growing and entrepreneurial environment. **Key Responsibilities** ***Accounting \& Financial Reporting*** * Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, and statutory compliance * Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards * Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes ***Tax \& Compliance*** * Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements * Manage corporate tax, VAT, and other local regulatory obligations * Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities when required ***Financial Controls \& Processes*** * Establish and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls * Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance * Support financial governance and risk management ***Team Leadership \& System Development*** * Lead and develop the accounting team * Improve accounting systems, reporting processes, and financial workflows * Support the implementation of financial systems and digital tools **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred) * Currently serving as Chief Accountant or equivalent senior accounting role * Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations * Experience in SME companies within manufacturing, FMCG, energy, or similar industries * Proven experience managing accounting operations and financial compliance * Strong analytical, leadership, and problem\-solving skills * Hands\-on and adaptable mindset suited for a startup or high\-growth environment * Local candidate preferred (Sweden or Denmark; Netherlands also considered) **Contact:** Hai Anh Nguyen \- Global Talent Acquisition Manager Email: v.anhnth94@xanhsm.com *We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
