Accounting Manager (EY, KPMG, PwC, or Deloitte Experienced)

**This is a full time, remote and permanent role as per the US Central timezone** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail\-oriented Accountant with prior experience at a Big 4 or similar professional services firm (e.g., EY, KPMG, PwC, or Deloitte). The ideal candidate will combine strong traditional accounting expertise with a forward\-thinking mindset, including experience or interest in using AI tools and building automated accounting dashboards to support data\-driven decision\-making. This role is ideal for someone who is not only technically strong in accounting principles but is also eager to modernize financial processes through automation, analytics, and AI\-powered tools. Key Responsibilities * Manage and oversee day\-to\-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial close processes. * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (IFRS/GAAP). * Design, build, and maintain interactive accounting and financial dashboards for real\-time reporting and performance tracking. * Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy and efficiency. * Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support leadership in strategic decision\-making. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to ensure proper financial controls and data integrity across systems. * Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies. * Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting structures. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 3–6\+ years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years at a Big 4 or similar firm (EY, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, or equivalent). * Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls. * Hands\-on experience with financial reporting tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel. * Demonstrated experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, automation platforms) to improve accounting workflows. * Experience building or managing financial dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications * Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA (completed or in progress). * Experience working in fast\-paced, high\-growth, or tech\-enabled environments. * Familiarity with data visualization, SQL, or data modeling concepts. * Experience implementing or improving accounting systems and reporting frameworks.
