Accountant

Work Model: Hybrid Duration: 6\+ Month **About the Role** * We are seeking a detail\-oriented Accountant to join our Product Control team. You will be responsible for interpreting balance sheets, analyzing regional P\&L, and collaborating with regional finance teams. This role is ideal for candidates with strong accounting knowledge, banking experience, and the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple regions. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare, review, and interpret balance sheets accurately. * Analyze regional P\&L, including variances, trends, and insights. * Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. * Support product control activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. * Understand entity structures and revenue transfers to maintain accurate accounting records. * Conduct upfront regional P\&L analysis for management decision\-making. * Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders. **Required Skills \& Experience (Must\-Have)** * Strong accounting knowledge with experience in balance sheet analysis. * Experience in regional P\&L reporting and analysis. * Background in the banking or financial services sector. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction. **Preferred Skills \& Experience (Nice\-to\-Have)** * Knowledge of capital markets products. * Understanding of regional tax frameworks. * **Technical skills:** Excel macros, VBA, or Python scripting. * Familiarity with entity structures and intercompany revenue transfers. * Previous experience in product control or finance teams. * Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.
