At Socktopus, we value teamwork and welcome individuals who share our enthusiasm for fun and functional fashion. **Role Description** We are seeking an experienced Accountant for a full\-time hybrid role based in Market Harborough. This role involves managing financial records, preparing financial statements, overseeing budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and tax obligations. The Accountant will handle payroll, support cash flow management, and collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights. While the role requires presence in our Market Harborough office, some remote work flexibility is available. **Qualifications** * Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management * Experience with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing accounts and financial reconciliation * Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance processes * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills for financial data interpretation * Strong organizational and time management abilities * Effective communication and collaboration skills * Prior experience in retail or manufacturing industries is an advantage * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are a plus
