Role Overview
Richmond Properties is seeking an experienced
**Senior Accountant**
to oversee and strengthen the company's financial operations as the business continues to grow. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting leadership with accurate financial insights to guide business decisions.
This role requires a highly organised finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and experience managing accounting functions within a fast\-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
**Financial Management \& Reporting**
* Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
* Manage profit \& loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting
* Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision\-making
**Accounts \& Controls**
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
* Monitor company expenses and ensure financial controls are followed
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial records
* Manage payroll coordination and expense reimbursements
**Compliance \& Audit**
* Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and tax requirements
* Manage VAT filings and maintain accurate VAT records
* Prepare documentation and support external audits
* Maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
**Budgeting \& Forecasting**
* Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
* Monitor financial performance against budgets
* Identify cost\-saving opportunities and areas for financial improvement
**Systems \& Process Improvement**
* Improve financial processes, reporting systems, and controls
* Work closely with leadership to enhance financial planning and operational efficiency
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred
* 5\+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate or a similar industry
* Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance
* Experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems
* Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-growing company
