Accountant

We are hiring: Accountant We are recruiting on behalf of our client, office based in London, for an Accountant to join their finance team on a hybrid working model. This role is suited to a detail\-oriented and proactive professional with strong accounting expertise and experience in construction, energy, or oil and gas companies. Key Responsibilities: * Perform day\-to\-day accounting activities, including booking disbursements and cash receipts * Monitor receivables and payables across multiple legal entities * Reconcile bank statements for group entities * Prepare and execute payments via various e\-banking platforms * Support cash flow recording and ensure accurate, timely cash flow analysis * Collaborate with financial controlling teams to ensure accurate recording of cash in/out activities * Assist the Country Finance Manager and Controllers with budget monitoring * Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts * Support annual audit processes * Investigate and resolve audit findings, discrepancies, and compliance issues in coordination with the Country Finance Manager What You Bring: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance * 5\+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an international environment * Experience in a construction, energy, or oil and gas company is required * Experience in Renewables and/or EPC construction is a strong plus * Solid knowledge of accounting and tax (VAT, withholding tax, CIT, etc.) * Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel * SAP experience is required * Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Value\-Based Behaviors: * People \& personal growth * Results orientation \& safety excellence * Collaboration \& trust * Empathy \& effective communication * Flexibility \& adaptability What Our Client Offers: * Competitive remuneration package * Pension plan * Career development opportunities * Private medical plan If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the requirements, we encourage you to apply.
