Job Description
We're hiring a sharp, hands\-on accountant who doesn't just book entries — they help make the café profitable. You'll own the entire financial function: vendor payments, daily cash and POS reconciliation, cost tracking, and reporting that actually drives decisions. If you've worked in F\&B and know where money leaks in a café, this role is for you.
**What You'll Do**
* Manage all vendor and supplier payments end\-to\-end — track credit terms, negotiate where possible, ensure nothing is overpaid or double\-paid
* Reconcile daily sales (cash, card, delivery apps) against POS reports every single day
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly P\&L reports broken down by revenue stream (coffee, kitchen, delivery, etc.)
* Track food and beverage cost percentages and flag any variance immediately
* Monitor inventory costs against actual consumption to catch wastage and theft
* Manage petty cash, staff advances, and all operational disbursements
* Handle payroll processing and statutory compliance (EOBI, tax withholding)
* Build and maintain dashboards showing gross margins, COGS trends, and break\-even analysis
* Work closely with the café manager to set cost targets and hold the team accountable
* Prepare monthly financial packages for ownership review
**What We Need**
* 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally with at least 1–2 years in restaurants, cafés, or F\&B operations
* Strong command of QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
* Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling
* Someone who understands unit economics: cost per cup, cost per cover, contribution margins
* Experience managing multi\-vendor payment cycles in a fast\-paced environment
* Comfortable working with POS systems and reconciling across multiple payment channels
* Proactive mindset — you spot problems in the numbers before anyone else does
* Based in Lahore with availability for on\-site presence
**Bonus Points**
* Experience helping an F\&B business go from loss\-making to profitable
* Familiarity with food cost control frameworks and menu engineering from a finance lens
* Exposure to delivery platform commission reconciliation (foodpanda, Careem, etc.)
