Job Description
Octet Solutions is seeking a detail\-oriented **Accounts Assistant** to support the finance team with accurate financial data entry and bookkeeping tasks. The role primarily focuses on maintaining accounting records and assisting with **Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)** processes.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting concepts and the ability to maintain organized financial records.
**Responsibilities**
* Enter financial transactions accurately into the accounting system
* Record vendor invoices and bills for **Accounts Payable**
* Record customer invoices and payments for **Accounts Receivable**
* Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents
* Verify invoice details, payment amounts, and documentation
* Track outstanding receivables and update payment records
* Assist with reconciliation of invoices, payments, and financial entries
* Maintain vendor and customer account records
* Support the finance team with bookkeeping and administrative accounting tasks
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, BBA, B.Com, or related field**
* Basic knowledge of **accounting principles and bookkeeping**
* Experience with **Excel or Google Sheets**
* Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) is an advantage
* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
* Good organizational and time\-management skills
**Timings:** Mon\-Fri (9am\-6pm), On\-site
**Location:** 30 R, DHA Phase 8, Ex Air Avenue, near Neon square, Lahore
Job Types: Full\-time, Fresher
Pay: Rs40,000\.00 per month
