Created by Seraphina Therapeutics, fatty15 has earned top industry recognition, thousands of five\-star reviews, and a rapidly growing customer base, positioning it for significant scale in 2026\. **Position Summary** We are seeking a hands\-on, high\-impact Controller to lead and scale our accounting function as Seraphina Therapeutics continues its rapid growth. This full\-time remote role reports to the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer and serves as the top accounting leader for the organization. This role sits at the center of a fast\-moving, multi\-channel business and will play a critical part in ensuring our accounting function operates with speed, precision, and scalability. You will lead a team of internal and outsourced resources while driving smarter, more efficient ways of working—leveraging systems, automation, and process design to keep pace with a business that is evolving quickly. The ideal candidate is a strong operator and confident leader who knows how to balance being in the details with stepping back to continuously improve how the work gets done. As the company grows and expands into new channels, including retail, you will play a key role in evolving the accounting function to support increased complexity without slowing the business down. We are looking for someone who brings urgency, ownership, and a mindset of continuous improvement—someone who doesn’t just manage the function, but actively pushes it forward. **What You Will Own** **Accounting Leadership \& Team Management** * Lead, develop, and manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring high\-quality execution, accountability, and continuous improvement * Establish clear workflows, roles, and performance expectations to drive efficiency and scalability * Serve as the primary accounting partner to the CFO/COO, providing visibility, insight, and recommendations **Close Process \& Financial Reporting** * Own and continuously improve the monthly close process, with a target of a 5\-day close * Ensure accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting to support decision\-making * Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the close process through automation and process redesign **Systems, Automation \& Process Scale** * Continue to optimize NetSuite and related systems to support a scalable accounting infrastructure * Drive automation across accounting workflows, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy * Partner cross\-functionally to improve data flows across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, 3PL, and other systems * Lead ongoing process evolution to support rapid growth and increasing operational complexity **Inventory \& Cost Accounting** * Own inventory accounting, including reconciliations, costing, and controls across a 3PL environment * Ensure accurate cost of goods sold and inventory valuation as the business scales * Build processes that will support future retail expansion and increased SKU/channel complexity **Compliance, Controls \& Audit** * Ensure compliance with US GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606\), inventory accounting, and other relevant standards * Strengthen internal controls and documentation to support audit readiness and future transaction scenarios * Lead audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors **Cash, Risk \& Financial Discipline** * Support cash management and liquidity forecasting in partnership with the CFO/COO * Identify financial risks and opportunities, proactively recommending solutions * Ensure timely and accurate tax filings across jurisdictions in partnership with external providers **Qualifications** * 10\+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility * Experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader in a high\-growth DTC or CPG environment * Strong expertise in inventory and cost accounting (physical product environment required) * Proven ability to lead and scale accounting functions, including managing outsourced teams * Deep experience with NetSuite and integrated ecommerce/accounting systems * Strong understanding of multi\-channel revenue environments (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop) * Demonstrated success improving close timelines, processes, and automation * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and process improvement mindset * Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast\-paced environment * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred **Benefits** * Competitive base salary * Performance\-based bonus opportunity * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) plan with company match * Generous paid time off * 11 Paid holidays * Remote work flexibility * Employee discount on fatty15 * Opportunity to make meaningful impact in a high\-growth, mission\-driven company
