**Accountant** **City** **£350 \- 400 per day** **£70K Permanent** We’re looking for an **ACA\-qualified (or nearly qualified) finance professional** to play a key role in valuation reporting, financial statement preparation, and ad hoc analysis for a dynamic investment environment. **The role:** * Prepare accurate weekly and month\-end valuation reports for senior management. * Value portfolios using broker statements and Bloomberg data, with strong understanding of financial instruments and potential valuation issues. * Deliver cashflow, exposure, and graphical analysis reports in Excel, adapting to portfolio or management changes. * Prepare IFRS\-compliant financial statements, using Excel\-to\-Word workflows, and translate management accounts into statutory reporting. * Manage audit queries effectively, drawing on strong technical knowledge and understanding of the audit process. * Support senior stakeholders with tailored ad hoc reporting and analysis. **The ideal candidate:** * ACA qualified (or close to completion), with a solid grasp of IFRS for investment companies/funds. * Confident in Excel (charts, analysis, linking data into Word) and able to present financial insights clearly. * Strong analytical and communication skills, with proven ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver meaningful reporting. * Experience working with investment portfolios is a plus.
