Accountant (Big 4 Background & AI-Driven Reporting)

**This is a full time, remote and permanent role as per the US Central timezone** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail\-oriented Accountant with prior experience at a Big 4 or similar professional services firm (e.g., EY, KPMG, PwC, or Deloitte). The ideal candidate will combine strong traditional accounting expertise with a forward\-thinking mindset, including experience or interest in using AI tools and building automated accounting dashboards to support data\-driven decision\-making. This role is ideal for someone who is not only technically strong in accounting principles but is also eager to modernize financial processes through automation, analytics, and AI\-powered tools. Key Responsibilities * Manage and oversee day\-to\-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial close processes * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (IFRS/GAAP) * Design, build, and maintain interactive accounting and financial dashboards for real\-time reporting and performance tracking * Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy and efficiency * Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support leadership in strategic decision\-making * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to ensure proper financial controls and data integrity across systems * Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies * Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting structures **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * 3–6\+ years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years at a Big 4 or similar firm (EY, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, or equivalent) * Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls * Hands\-on experience with financial reporting tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel * Demonstrated experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, automation platforms) to improve accounting workflows * Experience building or managing financial dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA (completed or in progress) * Experience working in fast\-paced, high\-growth, or tech\-enabled environments * Familiarity with data visualization, SQL, or data modeling concepts * Experience implementing or improving accounting systems and reporting frameworks Powered by JazzHR 6Gwtm4nUuc
