Our client in Vaughan, ON is looking to hire a fulltime permanent Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands‑on role responsible for full‑cycle accounting across both operating and property entities, providing disciplined financial reporting, compliance oversight, and strong transactional accuracy. The ideal candidate brings technical depth in accounting, and the ability to operate within a growing, multi‑stream business environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage full‑cycle accounting across operating and property companies. * Prepare financial statements, month‑end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and year‑end support. * Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. * Manage lease accounting, fixed assets, and capital expenditure tracking. * Produce accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance insights for leadership. * Maintain internal controls and ensure consistent accounting standards. * Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management. * Liaise with external auditors, lenders, and regulatory bodies as needed. * Partner with operations to align financial practices with club activities and facility performance. **Qualifications** * CPA designation required. * 3–5\+ years of experience in full‑cycle accounting, preferably in real estate, hospitality, recreation, or multi‑entity environments. * Strong knowledge of payroll, lease accounting, and financial controls. * High attention to detail with strong technical accounting proficiency. * Ability to thrive in a hands‑on, evolving environment.
