**Job Description**
The Account Manager – US Golf \+ Sport, in partnership withthe Director of Golf, is responsible for shaping and executing the commercialstrategy for Lacoste Golf in the United States. This role leads revenue growth,strengthens brand presence within the golf ecosystem, and ensures excellence inexecution across all channels. As a key partner for the Director of Golf, theAccount Manager will support the strategic vision, maintain disciplinedexecution, and leverage their expertise to deliver sustainable growth alignedwith Lacoste’s heritage and future ambition.
**Essential Job Responsibilities**
**Commercial Strategy \& Revenue Growth**
* Support Director of Golf with development and executing theLacoste US Golf \& Sport sales strategy, ensuring alignment with globalbrand direction and regional objectives.
* Meet and exceed assigned sales targets while driving channelrevenue growth within defined budgets and forecasts.
* Deliver short\- and long\-term sales and profitability resultsthrough disciplined planning and execution.
* Accurately communicate product knowledge, pricingstrategies, and brand policies to existing and prospective customers.
* Develop account specific business plans to maximize growth,brand penetration, and long\-term profitability.
* Direct account ownership for Paddle X, DSG, PGA Super Store,JD Sport, and other Sports Generalists accounts
**Cross Functional Collaboration (supporting Director of Golf)**
* Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, andOperations to ensure seamless go to market execution.
* Align sales initiatives with broader organizational goals,seasonal launches, and product strategies.
* Partner with internal teams to optimize inventoryallocation, forecasting accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
* Act as a strategic voice for the U.S. Golf market, providinginsights to influence future product and brand initiatives.
**Leadership \& Team Development**
* Manage and optimize the agent network supporting customersthrough purchase orders and commercial agreements.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the agentand internal sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, urgency, andhigh performance.
* Support Director in setting clear performance expectationsand professional development through regular feedback and goal setting.
**Market Development \& Customer Relationships**
* Build and maintain strong relationships within the golfcommunity to drive brand loyalty and repeat business.
* Lead all aspects of the sales process for both existing andnew accounts.
* Deliver strategic training and sales presentations toenhance brand storytelling and product performance.
* Represent the Lacoste brand with professionalism, integrity,and adherence to company standards.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, andemerging market opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage.
**Data Driven Performance Management**
* Prepare, analyze, and present sales reports to trackperformance against goals.
* Manage weekly \+ monthly forecasting requirements inalignment with sales targets
* Develop accurate forecasts, business reviews, and strategicrecommendations to guide decision making.
* Leverage sales data, consumer insights, and market trends tooptimize strategy and execution.
* Translate analytics into actionable initiatives that drivesustained growth.
**Compliance \& Brand Stewardship**
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures related tosafety, loss prevention, confidentiality, and standard operating procedures.
* Uphold Lacoste’s standards of excellence and ethical conductacross all commercial activity.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree required; BA/BS preferred.
* 5\-7 years of proven sales experience, preferably in golf, orsporting goods.
* Highly strategic thinker with the ability to convertinsights into actionable commercial strategies.
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, andcustomer relationship management skills.
* Self\-starter with the ability to work independently andmanage time effectively.
* Highly organized, detail oriented, and dependable.
* Strong analytical skills with a passion for performanceoptimization.
* Willingness to travel regularly as needed.
* Energetic leader who demonstrates accountability, urgency,and passion for the brand.
